Interim Finance

Many situations can require interim expertise:

A company sees strong growth both organically and through acquisitions.

There is a core of highly qualified people in Finance, but more hands are needed in order to ensure stability

The local Finance Manager of a subsidiary company in a large Group leaves her position

A start-up company needs to fill the role of CFO

This is when a qualified interim consultant can fill the gap. This way, the Finance function is built gradually. Recruitments are done with the best candidate in focus, while the interim consultant prepares the ground for an efficient hand-over.

An interim assignment is a three-phase mission. It has a start, a middle and an end. In the start phase the interim consultant gains insights in systems and organization. Speed is of essence here.

During the assignment, the interim consultant can keep an objective perspective seeing the business from the outside, but at the same time dealing with the specifics.

The final phase is perhaps the key for a successful interim mission. The importance of a successful hand-over should not be underestimated.
